This woman is crazy, 2 kids are enough work for me!! I can't believe how much food they get through - they'd all have to have a trolley each in the supermarket! Seriously though, I think it's a bit much, especially claiming all those benefits.

Its just awful that she had run out of name ideas so coming up with things like "Frodo" and "Peppermint". Keep trying until she has twins...how about stop wasting people who works money and be happy with what you have!

Depends what benefits she claims. With 13 soon to be 14,I imagine family allowance alone to be £9,000-£10,000 per year. So if she qualifies for working family tax credit and child tax credit that would soon mount up. Doubt it would add up to £50 grand but if 1 of them works(as it is in our house) then live and let live. Can't contemplate that many myself-have 2 would love another 2 but TBH we can't afford any more than that.

Shame about peppermint tho............

Yeah, shame about the names, but whatever rocks your boat.

Tax credits are just based on you need x amount to live, you have x amount from an income ,here's the difference.Child benefit's for everyone.

He works, she looks after the kids and home. They don't live in  a mansion but a 3 bedroom house. He hasn't given up work to look after the kids, which I have heard of being used as an excuse. She gets up at 4 to clean the house, she's not idle. What better example to set your kids than hard work and sacrifice.

Someone who has that many children does so for the love of having them, not the money.Without  the benefits they'd have asmany but live in poverty.

But it's a tabloid world we live in

I havnt read the whole article in question but if its anything like the usual tabloid crap they will have no doubt played down the fact that someone in the house actually works??

I couldnt imagine having that many, but good luck to her!
