With my 3 yr old, it was difficult to manage when my 7 yo was doing her school work. I had to resort to yet another chore chart (from kidrewardzone.com) that I use for the elder one. I made some modifications. I allotted some simple jobs like picking up her own laundry, getting her towels in place, and so on. Now, she gets stars for each of her task done. I have included "do not disturb sister" in the column which fetches a minus. She is able to understand the concept and follows it that way.
