Simple, fun-packed ways you can boost your little one’s social and learning skills
1) Squeeze some paint into plastic pots, and stir in some dried pasta tubes until they’re covered with paint. Remove and let them dry for at least 30 minutes.
2) Cut a piece of string long enough to make a necklace or bracelet for your child.
3) Hold one end of the string, and let your toddler thread the pasta onto the other. Tie the ends of the string together.
“The skill of painting pieces of pasta and threading them onto string to make a necklace will mean your toddler really has to concentrate on what he’s doing,” says Caroline Young, author of 50 Things To Do With Your Toddler. “He’ll get a real sense of achievement having created something himself.”
