Bump-friendly inflatable mattress invented by mum-of-two
A mum-of-two from West Yorkshire has invented a lilo designed to help pregnant women get comfy when in the pool. Called the Holo, the inflatable mattress looks like a bump-sized hole has been punched right through it, and lets mums-to-be lie on their side or front. The idea seems so obvious, we’re left wondering, “Why hasn’t this been done before?”The inventor, Emma Benson, 37, had the idea five years ago. At the time she was 28 weeks pregnant with her first child, on holiday in sunny Spain and unable to get comfy. “I said to myself, ‘I have to have a lilo with a hole in it’,” Emma is quoted as saying in the Metro. The Holo is also useful for massage, physiotherapy, or even in your bed- or living room. The Holo is available to buy online from holo-lilo.
