Britax, one the big names in the car seat world, has given its buggy range a facelift for 2010. The range will be made up of four buggies, all starting with “B”. There’s the B-Dual, a tandem buggy that can also be a travel system. There’ll be the B-Lite, a lightweight and compact stroller. There’s also the B-Mobile, a lightweight 3-wheeler or 4-wheeler that’s travel system compatible. Finally, there’s the B-Smart, a forward and rear facing buggy that’s travel system compatible, also with a choice of three or four wheels.
Britax’s travel system compatible buggies will feature the CLICK & GO mechanism. This is Britax’s one-step way to attach the car seat to the chassis and keep things simple. It’s also something you would have come across in its current models.
So, the B-names are cute, but what about the actual buggies? Style wise, they give big nod to their predecessors, such as the Britax Vigour 4+, Britax 3+, Britax Beep and Britax Nexus. The tandem B-Dual needs to be singled out for special attention though – it is a real looker, especially in the Aurora Green colourway. But if you’re not gaa-gaa for green, there’s the equally modern Neon Black, Venetian Red and Atomic Denim to choose from.
We can’t wait to get our hands on these Britax beauties to see how they cope in the real world. Britax’s past offerings have performed well in the hands of MFM’s professional reviewers, so we’ve got high hopes for the B-Dual, B-Lite, B-Mobile and B-Smart!
