A schoolgirl has made her father the youngest granddad in the UK
Shem Davies, 29, who himself became a dad at the age of 14, is said to be “absolutely delighted” about becoming a granddad to baby Ava Grace, according to The Sun.
Shem’s daughter Tia has given birth to a baby girl a week before her 15thbirthday making the little one the sixth living generation in her family. And making ShemBritain’s youngest grandpa!
Ava was born 10 weeks early and weighed less than 2lb.
The family, from Bridgend,Walessaid that the new baby is doing “remarkably well” at the special care baby unit.
“It’s really hard on Tia because all she wants to do is give her baby a cuddle, like any new mum. But she must stay in the incubator.” said a family friend.
