Every parent loves taking snaps of their children but imagine if you took a photo a day to track their journey.
Karen Messenger has done just that and taken a beautiful photo of daughter Katie every day of her life.
The single mum from Yorkshire didn’t want to miss a single moment and has created an album of her little one from birth on Blipfoto, the daily online photo journal.
“This journal is her journal,” says Karen.
“It’s our story together – from the start, through as long as she’ll let me carry it on.”
“I want her to see what a wonderful joy she is to raise and how precious she is.”
Karen also believes the journal has been a great base for following her daughter’s growth.
“I record her milestones, I try to note the things she said or did that made me smile.”
Later this month, the mum and daughter duo will be celebrating Katie’s third birthday and will have three consecutive years of photos to look back on.
A recent parents poll revealed that the top regret for most mums and dads was that they wished they had taken more pictures of their children as babies.
