Family kicked off flight because their baby son was recovering from chickenpox
After enjoying a family holiday in the sun, Andrew Foden, Colette James and their four children were looking forward to flying home. But they were soon banned from the Corfu to Manchester flight when easyJet staff spotted chickenpox scabs on 5-month old, Aston.
The family had to fork out £1,000 for hotel rooms and re-booking their flights and needed a doctor to give Aston a certificate confirming he was healthy to fly home.
“We were shocked. He was no longer poorly,” said dad Andrew, reports the Daily Mirror.
easyJet has reportedly apologised to the family and is investigating the situation.
