Super mother Wu Juping bravely caught a falling 2-year-old girl

Super mum Wu Juping sprinted to the rescue as she saw a 2-year-old girl dangling from the 10th floor window of a high rise apartment block in Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang, China.

The brave 31-year-old mother was just walking past the building when the sight of little Niu Niu hanging from the window caused her to leap into action. She flung off her high heels as she ran to catch the falling child.

Wu suffered a broken arm from the impact of catching Niu Niu, which has meant she's had to stop breastfeeding her 7-month-old son earlier than anticipated. Wu also passed out from the force of catching the falling toddler. Niu Niu has internal bleeding and is still in a critical condition.

Niu Niu had been left home alone when the accident took place.

“She could have died or been paralysed for life if the child had hit her head or her back,” said Jin Dengfeng, director of a hospital in Fuyang that offered to treat Wu for free because of her bold actions, reported the Daily Mail.

“I don’t regret anything that happened. I just hope Niu Niu will recover,” brave heroine Wu said.
