We've been twice now, once as part of an event and both times have been brilliant. I do find myself that some parts are repetitive, however, they're so educational and cleverly done at the same time. My 4 yr old certainly hasn't tired of it and finds it very exciting. The cafe doesn't impress though, which is strange because the food standard and selection when we had a buffet at the event was very good, so why can't that filter through to the cafe? Shortly after Christmas it wasn't even open, which was really annoying to try and drag my son out and explain he would be going back in after he'd eaten in the foyer cafe outside. We are though very lucky to have this resource and as it's quite expensive, it probably isn't somewhere that most would keep going back to, we certainly can't afford to.

We soooo adore Thinktank and are genuinely proud to have it on our doorstep, something to keep everyone happy along with cafe's and even a costa coffee in the building! going once is never enough.

We have been to the Think Tank LOTS of times over the years. The first time we went it was FAB! There was lots to see and do, and we really enjoyed it. They dont seem to have added much to it since then really though. The PLanetarium is great, even my 2 yr old was awed by it when we last visited. My older two loved the LegoLab stop-motion workshop, but you had to pay extra. Its not the cheapest of days out but there are usually vouchers around. The last few times we have beena few of the things havent worked properly or been out of order, but i think thats possibly due to it being such busy times when we visited. I have ben with family and also along with schools on trips and its good to see both sides of it. We've also been lucky enough to attend some of the funny, educational workshops and talks in the past. Some of my boys favourites have been crawling inside a giant nose, running on custard and junk modelling, just to name a few. Theres always something fun going on, even if the exhibits dont change much so overal its a good day out, especially if you can get vouchers.
