Description:NCT Kensington & Chelsea has invited Kathryn Mewes, Bespoke Nanny, and author of ‘The 3 Day Nanny’, to talk to local parents on some of the tougher issues when it comes to parenting toddlers.
Join us for a very informative and helpful evening session on Thursday 21st June at Rydges, Kensington.
Kathryn will talk on issues that are relevant for children between 18 months and 4 years old, however any parent with a baby or young child are welcome to attend.
During the 90-minute session, Kathryn will focus on the following topics:
• Encouraging your child’s independence and understanding what they are capable of
• Meal times and how to make them run smoothly
• The signs of when to start potty training and how to do it
• Giving your child the freedom of choice to tantrum and how to manage when this happens.
At the conclusion of the talk, you will have the opportunity to talk to Kathryn, on a one-to-one basis, about any challenges you may be having with your children at present. She is sure to give you a concise plan of action to set you on your way.
Kathryn’s new book, ‘The 3 Day Nanny’, will be released on the 7th June, and you will be able to purchase a copy of her book on the evening (and even have it signed!). Kathryn will be selling her book at a discounted price of £10 (RRP £12.99).
‘The 3 Day Nanny’ includes three-day plans to guide you through challenges in sleeping, eating, behaviour and discipline, and potty training.
Doors will open at 7.30pm, where there will be juices, water and biscuits on offer and a cash bar to purchase Rydges house white or red wine, at £4 per glass (cash only).
Kathryn’s talk will begin at 8pm sharp and conclude at 9.30pm, leaving half-an-hour at the end to purchase a book, ask questions and mingle.

Kathryn Mewes
Kathryn is based in South West London and travels the country working with different families every week on different 'Family Challenges' as she calls them.
She goes by the name of Bespoke Nanny due to her belief that every family is unique and needs to be guided differently. She will arrive with her little suitcase, remain for 72 hours and then continue to guide that family for the next month over the telephone.
On visiting a family a week, sometimes two families, Kathryn reached the stage where she wants to spread the word further. She believes strongly in the fact that, 'A happy and content life begins and remains in the family home.' Therefore writing ‘The 3 Day Nanny’.
