Love this - as my mum got a train from London to Edinburgh when she was 38 weeks with me! My dad arrived a couple days before me and then the 3 of us returned 2 weeks later lol.
Impressed as i don't think i could have done either journey at that late on.
Hi my youngest is 6 months and i like you was watching my pennies. I was lucky a friend spotted a second hand mamas and papas travel system was in lovely condition came with covers and change bag . Check the small ads in local paper and charity shops - amazing what you can get.
It was just what i needed as i wanted a carrycot pram for when he was really young but as i don't drive and use a lot of public transport knew it wasn't worth spending a lot on as wouldn't be pratical for long term - also have learnt by my mistakes from number 1 son and would difitly recommand spending more money on a buggy as you will need that for longer. I got a baby jogger city mini which can be used from birth which is brilliant as i can fold one handed with baby and bag in hand! Still use mamas and papas espically going to local shops as has a nice sized basket.
Hope you find something for you.
Totally argree mum best place to understand a baby's cries but also lots to do with body lanague.
- but did have a chuckle at this as not long since it was in the media that baby's cries have a accent depending where there from. Can't help but compare to trying to use atomated phone services that can't cope with my accent .
i totally love this buggy and only had it a couple of weeks. last weekend has to make a hellish train journey as hubby's car had broken down. this trip got worse as train lines had been vandalised - the baby jogger city mini came into it's own- youngest is 9 weeks and if i had the pram would have had to give up half way but this trully is a one hand fold. also deals with stairs wonderfully. my son also loves the the viewing windows.
That's so scary !Nearly happened to me on the train but managed to grab my son just as door alarm started - really scary as happened at a unmanned station.
