MFM gets a sneak peek at the bright colours, floaty fabrics and bold prints that will be hitting the shelves in Debenhams in the new year

Walking into the white room full of mannequins wearing floaty summer dresses, bold print trousers and a by-the-pool attitudes almost makes MFM want to skip Christmas altogether and head straight into Spring.
Bright colours, particularly yellow and orange, are heading into the new season with bold prints and structured dresses in hot pinks and reds. Plus there’s a new colour palette for the new year, with paler candy shades making an appearance both in the clothes and make up (we love Ruby Hammer’s make up sets for a little touch of everything).
The shoes are fabulous, but are impossibly high and ever so impractical. Fortunately the espadrille and deck shoe has also snuck in, which are far more wearable for busy mums!
The childrenswear is being shown of separately but we did get a few sneaky looks and, following mum fashions, kidswear is keeping up the cheery brights and cute detailing. We love the pretty party dresses, perfect for those Spring/Summer 2012 weddings!
And moving into high summer, how much do we want to go on holiday when there is this gorgeous luggage to drag along and super flattering kaftans for every mummy tummy? Love!
