The MFM team were treated to a gorgeous selection of Hotel Chocolate’s top Christmas treats last night in London.
It didn’t take much persuading to encourage the MFM team to head to Hotel Chocolate’s High Street Kensington store to try out this year’s Christmas choccies! You’ll be pleased to know that we were very thorough in our testing and didn’t leave one chocolate button unturned (or uneaten for that matter!). Like a Santa’s grotto for grown-ups, Hotel Chocolate has a huge array of melt-in-your-mouth treats to pop under the Christmas tree (or eat now, we won’t judge). From chocolate shaped Christmas Dinners to huge Chocolatier’s Tables - where you get an eye wateringly impressive selection of chocolate - there’s something for everyone. There’s even chocolates to suit dads, who we’re sure will jump at the chance to try some Mulled Wine chocolates or even a Pocket Reindeer. Along with Hotel Chocolate’s very own delicious pink Prosecco, we tried out HC’s super modern take on some Christmas classics. Our favourites included the Alternative Mince Pies (milk chocolate cups filled with praline and salted caramel), Classic Champagne Truffles and the Mini Crackers, which have an irresistible little chocolate hidden inside. Spoilt for choice? You bet, and there’s even their bagged, bowed and ready range to top off their cracking Christmas selection. The best bit was that MFM got the scoop on the extra special limited edition chocolate filled cabinets that will be released right before Xmas. Only a few hundred will be made, so maybe write to Santa now…
