Being greeted by a red flashing eyed dinosaur, an army of robins and a floor covered in fake snow left us in no doubt Wilko will be on your wish list this Christmas. Especially as most of its gifts were under £20 or £10.
First up the toys, where we were dazzled by instruments, new dinosaur and remote control rats for the boys and a very realistic mini washing machine for the girls.
Mums will fall head over heels with the new lines with everything from bird boxes and mittens to jewellery boxes and toiletries – from just £2.
Through an archway cascade of blue baubles (also starting at £2 each), we entered the homewares section – a flurry of cushions all worked to the stores new trend themes. A chandelier of glasses led us to the crockery and glassware ranges, and a host of cushions. It’s going to be a cosy Christmas with Wilkinson, we reckon.
