Did you know there's a great children's ticket deal for the London 2012 Olympic Games - which could save you a lot of money? But you need to apply on the official London 2012 website by one minute to midnight tonight (26 April) to be in with a chance to buy your tickets.
So how do you get a cheap children's ticket?
When you’re searching the different events to book your tickets, look out for a blue flag motif. This means that ticket deals for children are available. The prices for the tickets are cleverly based on your child’s age in 2012 – therefore if your child is 6 on 27 July 2012, you’ll pay £6, you’ll pay £3 for a 3-year-old and £14 for a 14-year-old.
This means a family of five (with children aged 4, 6 and 8 on July 2012) could end up paying £58 for 5 tickets with a face value of £20 each, saving £42!
The deal is only available for some of the events - the most popular sessions including the big finals are excluded from this deal – but you’ll still get to see some amazing sport.
Don’t delay – you need to register on the site first (and verify your email) before you can order your tickets! But it's not first come first served, so you'll have as good a chance as someone who booked their tickets on the first day.
