Tesco magazine on the lookout for amazing mums
Tesco Magazine is hunting for exceptional mums from all around the UK for their Mum of the Year Awards 2010. The Awards recognise the achievements of outstanding mums who go above and beyond the challenge of being a parent.This year’s winner was Iris Billing, who set up a charity to help young cancer sufferers in memory of her daughter.
All entries are considered by a team of judges and the shortlisted mums are treated to a glamorous day out. The lucky winners will receive top prizes and will also attend the star-studded awards ceremony held in London in March next year.
Voting closes this Friday September 25!
The Prime Minister’s wife, Sarah Brown, is a patron of the awards, “Being a mum is one of the hardest, most rewarding and most important jobs there is. Every time I am amazed at just how many things Britain’s mums are able to juggle.
