Forget rowing over the washing up, a new study says house-proud couples have more action
While research last week found couples spend 40 minutes each day arguing over household chores, a new study has given us the perfect excuse to get the dusters out, with couples who do more housework supposedly having more sex.
Couples who spend more time doing housework have sex an extra 15 times more each year than the national average, the study by Montclair State University and Arizona State University found.
Seven thousand couples were interviewed about their housework and sex habits, with men and women both enjoying more sex the harder they worked in the home.
Researchers reckon couples who are busier and more go-getting are less likely to compromise on sexual activity.
So forget the rows, grab a duster and get to it, girls!
