Four out of five of us parents are flummoxed by our children’s science questions, suggests a poll, reports the BBC. “Where do babies come from?”, “What makes a rainbow?” and “Why is the sky blue?” were the three most commonly asked questions, showed the survey of 1,002 UK parents with children aged between 5 and 16 years.The survey was undertaken to mark the launch of a new website, Science: So what? So everything, by the Department for Business Innovation and Skills.Dad of five (oh, and the Minister for Science and Innovation) Lord Drayson said, “Like all parents, I've had to cope with many questions from my children.“The Science: So what?
