These celebrations for dads-to-be involve a lot of drinking, gambling and perhaps a little lap dancing. In fact, Dadchelor parties are more like a stag do, part two.
They're certainly a long way from the relatively serene baby-focused activities of baby showers, where the most outrageous act is likely to the disclosure of the sex of the baby.
Expectant dads in America have been enjoying weekends in Las Vegas and even as far afield as Prague, in an attempt to live the wild life once more, before fatherhood sets in.
