Fancy good education, health and maternity leave? Head to Norway
Norway has been named the country with the best conditions for being a mum by the State Of The World’s Mother report.
It looked at 10 key factors including education, health, maternity leave and children’s wellbeing in 160 countries, with Norway topping the bill.
The country nudged ahead of Australia, Iceland and Sweden, with the UK coming in at 14, behind Ireland at 11.
While Norway sailed ahead in the rakings, Afghanistan was rated the worst place in the world to be a mum out of the countries assessed.
