Pregnant thief tricked pensioner into letting her use her toilet and then steals her purse
A pregnant woman managed to trick an 89-year-old pensioner into letting her in her home after begging her to use her toilet – and then robbed her.
The elderly woman, who took pity on the mum-to-be “desperate to use the toilet”, let her into her home. The pregnant woman then callously stole her purse from her pocket and fled the house.
“The offender must have been absolutely desperate to get her hands on some cash if she’s prepared to stoop as low as tricking her way into a vulnerable, elderly woman’s home and stealing from her,” a police officer told BBC News Manchester.
“The offender is pregnant and they will be clearly identifiable,” he concluded.
