Parents are following the lead of the celebrity mums and dads, purchasing designer wheels for their babies
It seems that parents are putting baby buggies on the top of their list, with a survey by Mintel finding pushchair sales have risen by 13% over the last two years.
Following the lead of celebrity mums like Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Lopez and Sarah Jessica Parker, the buggies parents are buying are high priced designer options, too.
Last year parents splashed out £225 million on pushchairs, meaning they now account for 30% of the total expenditure on baby gear. And with Bugaboo and Silver Cross being the top pick, it’s little wonder buggy thefts seem to be rising, too.
