Boys stop believing in Santa before girls, research has found

A poll by VoucherCodes.co.uk has found that little boys stop believing in Santa when they reach seven years old, whereas girls keep the Christmas tradition going until they’re eight years and three months!

Citing the ways children discovered the truth about Santa not being the one who delivers all their presents on Christmas Eve, nearly a third of children were told by someone at school.

Other common ways of finding out that Father Christmas didn’t exist was being told by an older sibling or relative, seeing their parents sneaking presents under the tree and 4% even came across a fake Santa impersonator without their beard on by accident!

Can you remember when you found out Santa wasn’t real?
