Ownership of the TV remote is the most common family argument during Christmas, a new survey has found.
The poll, by Buffalo LinkStation, asked 2,000 adults what caused the most arguments and bust-ups in their family over the festive period.
While hogs the TV remote came out on top, it was closely followed by mum getting stressed over the turkey, no-one helping frazzled mum in the kitchen and debates over who should wash up after Christmas dinner.
Cheating over a board game, what time to open presents and dad indulging in a bit too much festive cheer and getting drunk also made the shortlist.
