For £1,000, you can have Dad’s name added to the base of the 9.8ft bronze Isis sculpture by artist Simon Gudgeon in Hyde Park, London.
If the price tag is a little too generous for the average Recessionista, you might want to note that it’s all in aid of raising money to help build a new, eco-friendly children’s education centre. The new ‘Look Out’ centre will be a hub for children to learn about nature and the environment and will be surrounded by wildlife ponds and a nature trail.
You better act quickly as there are only 1,000 plaques being made, visit The Royal Park Foundation.The sculpture is due to be unveiled near the Serpentine in Hyde Park in August with celebrity supporters including Sting and wife Trudie Styler and Zac Goldsmith.
