Toy shops predict top toys for Christmas 2010
Looks like Buzz Lightyear, Zhu Zhu warrior hamsters and Ben10 will be on your children’s letters to Santa this year
This hamster means business
While you’re enjoying the hot summer days, here at MFM we’ve turned our thoughts to Christmas! Despite the sun shining through the windows, London’s famous toy store Hamleys invited us (and some very lucky children to toy-test) to their (synthetic) winter wonderland to reveal their recommendations for this year’s stocking fillers.
Hamleys’ top toys included Stinky the Garbage Truck, Ben10 Ultimate Alien Disc Ultimatrix, Vtech Kidizoom video camera, Jet Pack Buzz Lightyear and our personal favourite, the Kung Zhu Hamsters. These little guys come with a battle arena and you can accessorise your warrior hamster with everything from swords and armour to a war-tank your little fighter can drive himself!
Many of the toys matched a top toys prediction list created by Woolworths.co.uk’s which included a few more highlights from some of the big names in the toy world. Lego’s City Fire Station and Scaletrix made the cut as did Baby Annabel and Sylvanian Families with a new luxe house – the upscale “Regency Hotel”.
