Welcome to the birth of the best, brightest parenting site of the year!
We’ve got great plans for MadeForMums, and we’re so excited that you’ve come to have a look at its first steps – and as an early visitor, to help shape its future.
The site is in ‘beta’ at the moment. That means we’re still working on it and we know there are some bumpy bits, but we’d love to get your feedback. (We're midway through adding product details and tidying article formatting, for example, and the site is so far optimised for Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox.)
If you only do three things, we’d love you to:
- Join – it takes two shakes and then you can add comments in the feedback section, try out the reader reviews system, enter the competitions on the site, and more... (join here! - or log on if you're an existing PracticalParenting.co.uk member)
- Add reviews – we’re really proud of our product-reviews section and we’d love your feedback about it. One great way to get into it is to add your ratings of the products you own underneath our editors’ opinions. (there's a £265 Mamas and Papas Nuna buggy for the most helpful reader reviewer, so settle down with a mug of tea and add plenty!)
- Say hello in the friendly feedback section and tell us whether you like what you see – we’d love as much or as little detail as you feel able to give.
Of course, in between those things, we’d love you to spend as much time rummaging around the site as you can. We’re developing a wealth of articles from some of Britain’s best parenting writers (see ‘Our promises to you’, on the right), and daily news and gossip already flooding in - and that’s before we launch a further raft of helpful tools and brilliant community features.
