The 42-year-old musician took the plunge to capture this stunning pregnancy moment
Documenting your pregnancy with a nude bump pic is a popular trend, and the latest celeb to give it a go is 42-year-old singer Alanis Morissette.
Only she's managed to put a bit of a twist on it... by taking the pic completely underwater.
In the photo, shared to Instagram, Alanis floats beneath the water, with her legs tucked in, showcasing her baby bump.
The stunning photo was accompanied by the most adorable quote – which came from her 5-year-old son, Ever.

Quick side note: With wisdom like that at such a young age, it sounds like Ever is gonna make a fab big bro to the new arrival.
Alanis announced her 2nd pregnancy with a very touching music video to her husband, Souleye Treadway, in mid February 2016.
The animated video is a tribute to the couple’s life together… and ends with Alanis receiving a baby scan, with hubby and young Ever looking on.
The singer-songwriter has yet to announce her due date, but if her character in the video is receiving her 12 week scan, that would make her around 7-8 months along.
We’re sure that no matter when baby comes along – the family will treasure this gorgeous pic for years to come!
