And no, she's not gone for a totally original moniker that represents her favourite chakra or birthstone. The new mum has kept it totally traditional.

The notoriously private A-lister gave birth to her first child with husband Adam Shulman early on 24 March, according to E! News.

"The baby is extremely healthy and is surrounded by friends and family in LA," a source said. "Anne and Adam are ecstatic to be parents."

She's named her baby boy Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman.

Jonathan is a traditional Hebrew name that means 'god has given'.

But what about the unusual middle name Rosebanks?

Well, according to E! News, it's a tribute to both sides of the little boy's family.

Anne's paternal grandfather was called Roseline while Adam's mother's maiden name was Banks. So Rosebanks is a combination of them both.

Since Anne married Adam back in 2012, she made no secret of wanting to be a mum.

"Oh, my God. I want to be a mother, and I anticipate loving my children quite fiercely," she told Vogue back in 2013.

"I think about it all the time, though it's a silly thing to think about because the kind of mother I'll be depends on the kind of children I have. I can't wait to meet them."

We've been promised that Princess Diaries 3 is in the works – but we hope Anne takes some time off before rushing back into her tiara.
