Patrick Kielty hopes baby with Cat Deeley has her looks and his accent
The celebrity couple have just announced Cat is pregnant and expecting their first child together
Cat Deeley took to her Twitter account last night to reveal the news that she is expecting a baby with her hubbie, Patrick Kielty: "Exciting news.... Paddy and I are so happy to be expecting our first child in the Spring... Lucky us," she tweeted. Her page was immediately flooded with fans who couldn't wait to offer their congratulations.
Patrick Kielty almost let the 'cat' out of the bag last month when he was quizzed by Birmingham Mail. “I hope any child we might have has Cat’s looks and my accent,” he joked. Clearly he had babies on his mind.
Cat and Patrick have been married since 2012 and have the cutest getting-together story. They were friends for 10 years before Paddy sprung into action.
As Cat revealed to Red magazine, "I told him I was having a birthday brunch with friends at the Beverly Hills Hotel. He got on a plane to London, then another plane to LA, then he came straight from the airport with his bags, walked in, sat down and had brunch with me.
"And then, when I went to pay for everybody, they wouldn't take my card because it had all been taken care of. That's quite possibly the most romantic thing anyone has ever done for me. And he was just sitting there hanging out with 12 of my friends, making everybody laugh. It was romantic, noble, kind of amazing and pretty hard not to fall in love with him."
