???

"Mother and daughter both doing well, Dad is head over heels! D x"

It's seems Dec's BFF and presenting partner, Ant McPartlin, is also totally in love with the new arrival, adding on social media:

"Welcome to the world baby Isla Elizabeth Anne ❤️ Can’t wait for cuddles. I love you already!! Uncle Ant xxxxx"

So, what do Dec's baby name picks really mean?

isla elizabeth anne

Little Isla has 2 middle names. The first, Elizabeth, has Hebrew origins, and means 'closer to God'.

Anne is French, Hebrew and English in origin, but always means 'grace'. Anne also has sentimental meaning for the new parents, as it's Dec's mum's name.

But Isla itself? Well, it seems Isla has a few interpretations. In Spanish, 'Isla' is the word for island, but the name's also got Scottish roots.

There's a Scottish river called Isla, and an island in Scotland called Islay. Some have speculated this comes from the Gaelic word 'aileach', which means 'rocky place'.

Regardless, the name's a true beauty, and according to the Office of National Statistics came in at number 4 for the most popular girls' names in England and Wales for 2016.
