And now the 41-year-old, who doesn’t have any children of her own, has gone and brought the sexy to a capsule collection (pictured above, posed by a model) that's aimed specifically at new, breastfeeding mothers.

And we’re not sure quite what to make of it! On the one hand, it's great to see some lovely lingerie for a post-birth body; on the other, how many of us in the first few weeks of motherhood can really face much more on the underwear front than big pants and a comfy bra?

Dita’s new maternity range, part of her Von Follies underwear line, consists of 5 lacy nursing bras and 3 pairs of embellished control pants at around £30 a pop. The nursing bras are available in cup sizes B to F and each cup can be unhooked for easy breastfeeding. Dita’s glamorous lacy ‘shaper’ underpants feature control panels for new-mum jelly-belly flattening.

"Elegant underpinnings are a simple way to create everyday moments of luxury and beauty," Dita says in a publicity statement. "Why wouldn’t a new mother enjoy beautiful lingerie, too?
