If there's one thing that really annoys us, it's the press criticising pregnant women for what they wear. No, her bump doesn't look 'massive' and that dress isn't 'too tight'. Pregnancy is a time when all your normal style rules are thrown out and you've got to dress however you feel comfortable.

If that's in sky-high heels and a gold dress, like Cat Deeley recently on the red carpet, then good for you. But if you want to wear your maternity jeans and a baggy T-shirt exclusively then you should be able to do so without judgement.

And it seems new mum, and glamorous Hollywood actress, Eva Mendes feels the same. "I don't think it's fair to comment on [pregnant] women," she told Elle. "I think that's when we should be off-limits!​"

So does she have any style tips? "Oh god no! I was basically in like an oversized T-shirt – a very oversized T-shirt – for a long time," she said. "I didn't do anything style-wise!​"

And Fearne Cotton – who gave birth to her second child, a daughter named Honey just 2 weeks ago – also lived in big T-shirts for a while. But she found an endless supply of them – her husband's band T-shirts!
