British buggy maker Babystyle has just revealed its brand new pushchiar – the Egg.

Showcased exclusively at a Nursery Press & Key Buyer Day in London in February 2015, the highly-anticipated buggy is the brand’s first luxury pushchair.

Based on the clean lines of a hen’s egg (hence the egg connection), the pushchair features a distinctively curved seat unit.

The rounded chassis comes in gun metal, mirror and black finishes, while the high-quality fabric is available in 'Gotham Black', 'Storm Grey' and 'Arctic White' fabrics - plush!

Both the handle bar and bumper bar are finished in hand-sewn leather, making it a desirable combination of engineering, craftsmanship, comfort and style.

And for those of you with twins and expanding families the buggy can be converted (with adaptors) into a tandem buggy for two kids - great!

It's travel-system compatible (with both Maxi-Cosi and Kiddy car seats) and is suitable from birth up to 15kg (approx three years) with or without the carrycot.

It's available to buy now, as it the Babystyle double tandem version at Mothercare, House Of Fraser, Amazon or Kiddicare.

Probably best known for it’s hugely-popular Oyster range, BabyStyle appears to be taking on other well-known and higher priced brands, such as iCandy and Bugaboo, as it ventures into the high-end of the market.

Still, it's a tad cheaper than some of these premium competitors, as the buggy and carrycot combination will set you back £878, with the carrycot included.

We think this buggy is a guaranteed head-turner, and likely to garner celeb status in no time. Which is why it made it into our 10 of the best baby products for 2016 – as rated by MFM mums! But what do you think? Is it your next pushchair?
