Creating a generation of well-dressed 'mini me' offspring, the fashion elite are falling over themselves to design collections for stylish tots. First up was Jean Paul Gaultier and Marc Jacobs, now everyone from Stella McCartney and Gucci, who have signed on the dottedline to release a (no doubt) fabulous range of childrenswear and baby clothes. Now the new fashion season is among us, the designer childrenswear labels have released their A/W collections, so we've rounded them up so you can stock up on high fashion for your babes - and guess what? Stella's sister Mary McCartney has designed a range of t-shirts for Mini A Ture to raise money for the Sunway Children's Home in India. Fashion news just in...While we know and loved Stella McCartney's children's and babywear for GAP, it seems that the designer wants to expand on her own label with mini me clothes! The designer and mum-of-three is set tp launch Stella McCartney Kids in November with clothing starting from newborns to 12-year-old. "As a brand with many working parents in the team, I wanted to create a desirable, fun, wearable kids' collection that was affordable," McCartney told WWD. Another high-end fashion house who is launching a childrenswear range is Gucci. Set to be unveiled in spring 2011, the iconic brand will be decking out tots from ages 0-2 years and 2-8 years in what we can imagine to be bling-tastic - you better start saving the pennies...
