Fearne Cotton asks Kye Sones to be godfather to her baby son Rex
But X-factor singer confesses he’s not sure what this role involves...
Former X-Factor contestant Kye Sones, who competed in the latest series, has revealed best friend Fearne Cotton has asked him to be godfather to her baby son Rex.
According to the Daily Mail, the 31-year-old singer said: “I got a text from Fearne with a picture of Rex. It said, 'I love you so much already, I want you to be my Godfather'."
Kye and Fearne, also 31, have been best friends since the age of eleven making her choice for him to be a godparent no surprise.
Although Kye was more than happy to accept the honour, he admitted that he wasn’t particularly sure what it was a godfather was meant to do: “I don't know what exactly a godfather does but I'm definitely up for doing it. Rex is the cutest baby ever.”
