Julia Donaldson talks about the Gruffalo turning 10
Author Julia Donaldson has spoken with the Guardian about her work as a children’s author and the Gruffalo’s 10th birthday. In the video interview, Julia even sings two songs for the Gruffalo!
The Gruffalo is probably Julia’s most well-known creation, though plays and books for teenagers are also part of her body of work.
In her Guardian’s interview, Julia notes that she’s a little fed up of being only known for the Gruffalo. She said it’s mostly just journalists though who think the Gruffalo is the only book she’s written! Most true fans know her other work. That said, Julia says she must be nice as it is Gruffalo’s birthday year.
