Harper Beckham rocks Marc Jacobs wellies on a day out with daddy
David Beckham dotes on daughter Harper but reveals he hates being away from his children
David Beckham has long been showing men how to work a flat cap, rain coat and tan boots, but it’s his daughter Harper who’s racing ahead in the fashion game.
From dainty frocks on the fashion front row to a sporty look for London, Harper’s yet to put an expensively-clad foot wrong. Seen here in a little pink Stella McCartney bomber jacket, jeans and eye-catching Marc Jacobs wellies, Harper looks every inch the trendy tot. Well, having a fashion designer mum has its advantages. VB herself tweeted a snap of the wellies, saying Harper “loves her Marc Jacobs wellies! Rainy day in London”.
David, aka Daddy Beckham, recently told OK! Magazine that he hates being away from his family. Now playing for French football team Paris Saint-Germain, David said, “The biggest thing is my family. We don’t like moving around, we don’t like unsettling the kids.”
But being away hasn’t stopped Becks passing on a few family values – mainly hard work and competitiveness. Becks said, “We’re very lucky with our boys – they want to win. They want to work at something. They know their values. That’s the way we’ve brought them up so far, and that’s the way we’ll continue to bring them up.”
Turning to talk of his daughter David added, “She’s so beautiful. There’s no more love for a daughter than there is a son, but it’s just different. I still think, oh God, I can’t believe this, I’ve got a girl. And to see the boys with her it’s incredible. When they walk into the room her little face lights up.”
