Chic model mum Claudia Schiffer launches a new school-run-friendly fashion collection
Model Claudia Schiffer has launched a new fashion range, perfect for the school run. Claudia, 40, revealed that she had been thinking of getting into fashion design for years, and has decided to start with the clothes she wears most, as a working mum.
“I am always very busy, I have a family life... I want to wear the same outfit when I bring my children to school, then go to work with it - and in the evening I want to be able to just change accessories. Effortless chic. That is the idea,” Claudia said at the launch of her clothing line, at trendy Paris boutique Colette.
“I don't want this to be a celebrity line. It is meant to be a lasting business not a quick celebrity licencing line,” Claudia, mum to Caspar, 8, Clementine, 6 and Cosima, 1, added.
The casual designs include long tube black and navy blue dresses, grey oversized cardigans and cable-knit sweaters, which are perfect for working mums – if you can afford the £250-£500 price tag!
