Indian supermodel rocks the catwalk – while pregnant
Carol Maria Gracia's baby bump is the first to strut the catwalk in India
Draped in an elegant green and pink sari – Indian supermodel Carol Maria Gracias looks completely stunning.
And on first look at these amazing pictures, you might not realise that there's something (other than her beauty) that makes Carol stand out – she's heavily pregnant!
The 37-year-old model was asked by designer Gaurang Shah to walk in his show at Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai.
Karl Lagerfeld and Dolce & Gabbana have recently used pregnant models in their shows – but this is the first time a model who's clearly pregnant has walked in an Indian fashion show.
"I have been doing his shows for many years now, so this time as usual he called and asked if he could book me," Carol told the Hindustan Times.

"I told him I was pregnant and he still asked if I would walk for the show."
She added: "So, I gave it a thought, and realised that the clothes to be showcased are meant for all kinds of women.
"I thought if the designer would like me in his show, then why not? I really enjoyed the experience."
