The first sextuplets ever to be recorded in Ireland have been given names
The mum and dad of the first sextuplets in Ireland have named their tiny babies - who remain in intensive care in hospital.
Nuala Conway and her husband Austin, who are in their 20s, have called the four newborn girls and two boys Ursula, Austin, Shannon, Karla, Eoghan and Kerrie.
The babies, which were not conceived through IVF treatment, were born 14 weeks early by Caesarean section at the Royal Maternity Hospital in Belfast.
Despite weighing between 1lb 7oz (0.65kg) and 2lb 2oz (0.96kg) at birth, doctors say that they are all "doing well".

The local councillor in Nuala’s home town of Cappagh Michael Gillespie told the Belfast Telegraph: “It’s amazing news. The sextuplets are not just the talk of the village, they are the talk of the whole world.
“People are delighted for the family and everyone is just praying they come through the next few days ok.”
The first known sextuplets in Britain were born in 1968 in Birmingham.
