Dutch brand Joolz has revealed its very first infant car seat, which means you can now buy a Joolz Day or Joolz Geo travel system.

Known for making fashionable buggies, the Joolz brand is a favourite brand of celebrities including Una Foden, Tina O’Brien and Natasha Hamilton.

May be it’s the natural feel of the sleek silver or matte black frames and organic cotton fabrics. May be it’s the original leather bumper bars (which have since been much copied by other brands) and which Joolz now offers to personalise for you. Whatever it is, you can spot a Joolz pushchair instantly.

Up until now, Joolz fans have had to create a travel system using an infant car seat from Maxi-Cosi, Kiddy, Be Safe or Cybex.

But no longer. Joolz has teamed up with Scandi car seat brand Be Safe to create the Joolz IZI Go Modular car seat. It's i-Size compatible, suitable from birth until your child is 75cm tall (roughly 12 months) and comes with magnetic shoulder pads.

It can be installed with the brand new Joolz and Be Safe car seat base or your car seat belt and fits all Joolz Day and Geo pushchairs.

The Joolz IZI Go Modular chair has side impact protection built into the chair as standard, but Be Safe has also developed an additional side impact protection box (below) that sits on the side of the chair.

It can be moved from one side to another depending on which side of the car the chair is on.

Available now, the car seat costs £209. But that's comparable in price to other infant carriers such as the Maxi-Cosi Pebble Plus (£190) Cybex Aton Q (£180) and the more expensive Kiddy Evo LunaFix (£319) car seat.

As well as releasing a new car seat Joolz has launched a brand new limited edition Geo Ridge pushchair (below). It’s quite similar to the Joolz Geo buggy we've reviewed, but the frame is completely silver, with the addition of black wheels. The carrycot, seat unit and basket are now made out of more rugged, ridged fabric.

The limited edition Geo also has more pockets and comes with a free back pack, which has a metrosexual style - so good for the discerning, as well as stylish dads.

Price-wise, expect to spend at least £929 for the single version of this buggy, but you can also get it in double and twin mode, if you've got two babies, from July 2016.

If you've already started daydreaming about pushing this around your neighbourhood, we wouldn’t blame you!
