Jennifer Hudson throws superhero themed party for her son
Superhero son channels Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
American singer and actress Jennifer Hudson yesterday Tweeted a photo montage of her son’s 4th superhero-themed birthday party.
The picture shows Jennifer and husband, WWE wrestler David Otunga, posing together as Superman and Superwoman. In separate photos, their 4-year-old son David Daniel Otunga, Jr., clad in a red cape and a personalised Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle t-shirt, plays in a green sponge pit and poses with friends.
The superhero theme is a long-running obsession for David Jr it seems, last year he was Spiderman for his 3rd birthday party that was held at a large indoor playground filled with inflatable rides in Chicago.
It's also what got him through a sticky patch earlier this year when he broke his leg going down a slide on someone’s lap: “He has a cast. It’s red. He thinks he's turned into the red power ranger right now. That's how we tricked him into the cast,” his mum said.
Motherhood is “the best thing ever,” Jennifer said in an interview to Parents.com last year. “I always say you never know how much your parents loved you until you have a child to love.
