Jude Law has become a dad again after his former lover Samantha Burke gave birth to a baby girl in a Florida hospital.

Little Sophia arrived yesterday weighing 5lb 12oz.

“Samantha Burke is overwhelmed with joy at the arrival of her beautiful and healthy baby girl,” said her representative.

Jude, 36, met American actress Samantha, 24, while he was filming Sherlock Holmes in New York last year.

Although they are no longer together, Jude intends to play a “fully supportive part” in the little girl’s life.

This is the fourth child for Jude, who is already dad to 12-year-old Rafferty, 8-year-old Iris and 7-year-old Rudy with ex-wife Sadie Frost.
