For the first time since their split, Denise Van Outen's ex, Lee Mead, has been photographed with their daughter, Betsy.
Lee and little Betsy were out in Sussex, enjoying the sunshine. He appears to be wearing his wedding ring in the photo, despite the split.
It is thought that the couple grew apart because of work commitments – compounded by Lee’s work in America. Prior to their separation, Denise told Now magazine: “To be honest with you, it is really difficult. We just haven't seen each other. I'm not going to lie, it is a massive strain on the relationship. It is difficult. We haven't really spent any proper time together for six months.”
Lee and Denise split in July after four years of marriage. They met in 2007 while he was a contestant on Any Dream Will Do and Denise was a judge. They married in the Seychelles in 2009 and Betsy was born a year later.
