Peppa Pig gets involved with Tommy’s latest fundraiser
Colouring comps and Peppa goodies on sale to raise money for Tommy’s baby charity
Tommy’s the baby charity has teamed up with Asda and cartoon fave Peppa Pig to help raise awareness and funds for pregnancy complications in the UK.
In the UK we have the highest rate of premature birth in Western Europe and women are still affected by pregnancy complications every day. A quarter of British women suffer miscarriage or stillbirth. Asda's aim this year is to raise £500,000 for Tommy's to help fund research into pregnancy problems and support women affected.
Asda will be selling Peppa Pig goodies and donating the proceeds to the charity. There’s also a colouring competition for the under-5s with DVD prizes and the chance to meet Peppa.
