Singer is ‘laying low’ as she prepares to give birth
She has been keeping the details of her pregnancy very hush-hush, but by our calculations, pregnant Adele must be just about ready to pop.
And like many expectant mamas before her, the singing superstar is using her final pre-parenthood days to relax and enjoy the anticipation of her baby’s arrival.
Speaking to People magazine, a source revealed, “She is just thrilled. She is totally laying low and nesting.”
Down-to-earth Adele, who, despite being a global superstar, has maintained privacy in her personal life, has shunned the spotlight of late, instead letting her work speak for her.
The Someone Like You singer is the latest in an illustrious line of powerhouse divas to record a Bond theme, having released her single Skyfall, last Friday.

In a proud statement online Adele exclaimed, "I'll be back-combing my hair when I'm 60, telling people I was a Bond girl back in the day, I'm sure!"
Perhaps she can celebrate after her imminent arrival with a martini. Shaken, not stirred.
