The Duchess, who will soon be jetting off to France for a romantic babymoon break with William, is said to have let the vital date slip at a friend’s barbeque.

“Some of Kate and William’s closest pals were at a barbeque hosted by a family friend of the Royals recently,” a close friend of the pair told the Daily Mail.

“They were all discussing the fact Kate’s baby is due to be born on July 13. Everyone was very excited.”

Kate’s due date will coincide with the Coronation Festival, a four-day celebration to mark 60 years since the Queen was crowned, making it an extra special time for the Royals.

The Duke and Duchess show no signs of slowing down in anticipation for the arrival, having attended the wedding of their friends William Van Cutsem and Rosanna Ruck Keene in Oxfordshire on Saturday.

Kate, in her well-known thrifty manner, recycled the Topshop Tall Polka Dot Dress’ (£38) she wore at the Warner Brother’s Studio Tour only a few weeks ago and dressed it up with a chic black blazer and fascinator-style hat for the wedding.
