Feeding your baby in public is all about choice. You can do it from breast or bottle, choose to do it in public, in private, be covered or not – it's entirely up to you.

The important thing is - whatever our personal choice - that we not be judged (or tutted at) by strangers.

That's why we applaud Saved By The Bell actress Tiffani Thiessen for airing her views on the controversial subject of breastfeeding in public.

The actress – who played Kelly Kapowski in the '90s high school drama – has admitted that she'd rather sit on a toilet to breastfeed than do so in a restaurant.

The mum to 5-year-old Harper and 9-month-old Holt says while she believes women should feel like they can breastfeed "anywhere and everywhere" – she prefers not to.

“I do what I need to do, but usually in a restroom... and sadly sit on a toilet and nurse my child," Tiffani, 42, told US Weekly.

“At the same time, I don’t judge women who sit at a dinner table and do it,” she said. “It’s just not me.”

Well, that's refreshing. Each to her own.

What do you think?
